Velour started with an observation: the lines that actually move you rarely hang on a wall — they live on your phone. So we stopped printing posters and started making lock screens. No quote database, no stock library.

Every work here is generated with AI. We say that plainly because you deserve to know what you are buying: nobody stood at an easel. The painted look — the knife marks, the ridges the light catches — comes out of the model, not out of a tube.
What we do is the part before and after. Writing and rewriting until an image says something instead of just looking expensive. Throwing away the ninety that don't. Then cropping the ones that survive by hand, twice — once for a phone, once for a desktop — so the important part is not sitting behind your clock.
That is the honest description of the work: curation and framing, not brushwork. If you were looking for a scan of real oil on canvas, this is not that, and we would rather you knew before you paid than after.
