Privacy policy

Short version: we ask for as little as possible. To sell you a download we need an email address and what payment law requires — no tracking, no advertising profiles, no data sold on.

What we process, and why

Order and delivery data
Email address, billing address and what you bought. We need it to send you the files and to issue a receipt. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Payment data
Card and payment details are entered on Stripe's pages and processed by Stripe. We never see or store them — we only receive the confirmation that a payment succeeded.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records the usual technical data (IP address, time, page requested, browser) to deliver the site and to defend against attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your cart
Stored in your browser's local storage so it survives a reload. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clear your browser data and it is gone.

Who else sees it

Only the services we need to run the shop, and only what they need:

  • Stripe — payment processing and receipts.
  • Our hosting provider — operation of this website.
  • Our email provider — sending you the files you bought and answering your messages.

Some of these providers are based outside Switzerland and the EU, in particular in the USA. Transfers are covered by the standard contractual clauses and the providers' own adequacy arrangements.

How long

Order and receipt data: ten years, because accounting law requires it. Emails you send us: as long as the matter is open, plus a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs: a few weeks.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and runs no analytics. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything. Stripe sets its own cookies on its payment pages — those are described in Stripe's privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to processing, or ask for a copy in a portable format. One email to the address above is enough — we do not require a form.

If you think we handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU or UK, to your local supervisory authority.

Changes

If the shop changes in a way that affects your data, this page changes with it. The version you see here is the one that applies.
